Why Nuta Plants Are Based on Clay Pebbles (And What Clay Pebbles Actually Are)

Clay pebbles have been used in professional growing for decades. We brought them indoors, and it changed everything about how our plants perform.

Clay pebbles are small, round pellets made from natural clay fired at extremely high temperatures. The firing process expands the clay and fills it with tiny air pockets, making each pebble porous and lightweight. They are pH neutral, chemically inert, reusable, and they don't break down over time.

Plants that struggle are those with very delicate or short root systems, large root systems that need more anchoring, or plants that specifically require acidic soil conditions. These are edge cases, but worth knowing before you try to convert your grandmother's azalea.
